Outside of my own realm, 2016 was a strange year with probably too many celebrity deaths, an historic and weird presidential election, what seems like a huge technological shift in the way we interact with our world, and possibly the beginning of a larger war in the middle east (some say it could already be considered WW3).
As for myself, 2016 was a really good year that is going to stand out in my mind on many levels. I took somewhat of a career shift and teaching art has become a very important aspect of what I do on a day to day basis. I worked on two solo exhibits this year, one in NYC and one in Nuremberg, and painted a handful of murals. I got to work on some fun poster projects and illustrations, and found time to make zines and work on my garden. This year was like any other with stressful times and fun times and sad moments, but still, it was a very good year. Thank you to everyone who gave support in a small or big way! -Jeff
